Hi Vaughn Families!
I've been part of Vaughn PTA as a Room Parent from 2019-2023, VP Fundraising from 2021-2023, and co-chaired the first #VaughnKindness Raise Craze fall fundraiser in 2022. My family lives in Village Lakes and has two current Vaughn students. I've worked in nonprofit fundraising/ communications for over 20 years, including with Children's Health's Foundation.
Thanks for supporting Vaughn PTA! All the fun family activities on campus and grants for our teachers are made possible through your donations of time, talent and monetary gifts. Your support is absolutely amazing and I'm so grateful to you on behalf of our students and staff.
For the coming school year, we are going to continue:
- reviving fun & educational family nights to nurture our school community
- expanding STEAM educational programs for our students
- supporting teachers with grants for classroom materials
- campus security & safety upgrades (window shades in cafeteria & landscaping)

Hello Vaughn Families!
What a fun October we have had! Thank you for all your support and donations for our Warrior Dash! Together, along with generous sponsors, we raised $47,951.28! Wow! Your donations help the PTA to provide fun and educational programs for Vaughn Students, Teacher Grants, and much more.
To celebrate Red Ribbon Week, We had a very inspiring and energetic speaker, former NFL player Keith Davis, come to Vaughn to spread his message of determination. All the kids loved it! You can read more here.
We appreciate your support of our Spirit Night at Chick-fil-A. Through your participation and their donation back, we were able to raise $236 for the PTA. Thank you!
We encourage you to kindly join the PTA as a way to support our initiatives throughout the year. It's not too late and anyone in your family can join!

Hello Vaughn Families!
Happy September! I hope you all have made a smooth transition back to school. We have an exciting month planned for PTA events. We will have our fall book fair, first spirit night, Watch D.O.G.S. kickoff and first general PTA Meeting! Our Reflections program will begin soon as well. Encourage your children to start thinking about a project to enter in to this amazing program.

Registration is easy, and the site will have all the information you want and need about PTA happenings. Navigate to My Account >> My Forms/Paperwork.
Our PTA Board invites you to:
-Join the PTA! Membership is open to parents, guardians and students.
-Pay your Classroom Dues - they are used to pay for all class parties.
-Purchase Spirit Wear! Show your Vaughn Spirit all year long!
-Sign up for volunteer opportunities and more!
Our PTA Board looks forward to seeing you at the various Back to School events:
Grade level summer play dates, Kinder orientation and Meet the Teacher. We will be there to answer any questions you may have and help you register for any of the items above. With your involvement and participation, it is sure to be a great year!
